EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT METRO JAM

Metro Jam returns for its 45th year offering one of the most eclectic rosters of national, regional and local artists to appear at area summer festivals!  Metro Jam is proud to have grown to be considered Manitowoc's premier musical event bringing two great days of music, featuring a total of ten different acts!  The Green Bay Press Gazette has described Metro Jam as “the musical oasis in the busy Wisconsin festival scene.”  It's all presented FREE of charge at downtown Manitowoc's Washington Park on Friday evening, June 14, and all day Saturday, June 15, 2024.

The music starts at 5:15pm on Friday evening and runs until 9:30pm.  Bring the whole family down after work on Friday for an evening of family fun and great music.  On Saturday the music gets underway at 12 noon and runs all day until the final note is hit at 10:00pm.  Bring your blankets or foldout chairs to enjoy the day under the shade trees of beautiful Washington Park.  Come and join the community for great music, good friends, delicious food and refreshing beverages!

Metro Jam has been a regular winner of Best of the Lakeshore Awards presented by the Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter for "Manitowoc County Best Outdoor Concert" and "Best Concert in Manitowoc County" as chosen by the readers of the Herald Times Reporter!  We are very proud of the success of Metro Jam thanks to all the loyal fans, musicians and sponsors who have supported the event for 45 years!

DETAILS ABOUT THE PARK

Metro Jam takes place at the MetroStage bandshell in Washington Park located at 11th and Washington Streets in downtown Manitowoc.  The park is a tree filled grass park with some permanent benches on the pavement area immediately in front of the stage.  You are welcome to bring foldout chairs or blankets for your comfort while enjoying the music.

 

Permanent and temporary restrooms are available on site.  There is also a children's area with playground equipment for their entertainment.  You can download a map of the park here showing site amenities and other information to help you in planning your visit to Metro Jam.

PARKING & VENDORS

Public parking is available on the streets bordering the park, with the exception of South 12th Street, and also throughout the immediate neighborhood.

 

Metro Jam offers a variety of food and beverages also including beers to your taste, which are for sale at the park.  The concessions are all coordinated by Grow it Forward a great local non-profit group who through their sales at Metro Jam are supporting their anti-hunger goals of using good food to build community and feed change in Manitowoc County.

Metro Jam and artist souvenir merchandise such as t-shirts, CD's and more will be available for sale at the park during the festival.

LODGING IN THE AREA
